Located on Tennessee’s northern Cumberland Plateau, approximately an hour’s drive north of Knoxville, Scott County is home to about 22,000 people. It is the gateway to the Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area, the fifth-largest National Park Service unit in the eastern U.S. It is also home to the North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area, one of the largest contiguous tracts of public land in the Southeast.
