Oneida Special School District

Dr. Jeanny Phillips

The Oneida Special School District is governed by the OSSD Board of Education. The five board members are elected by the school district’s voters to staggering four-year terms. The director is Dr. Jeanny Butler Phillips. Three schools and more than 1,200 students make up the school district. All schools are SACS accredited by the State of Tennessee and deemed in good standing by the Department of Education, in accordance with federal No Child Left Behind Act requirements.

Oneida Elementary School

Oneida Elementary is a K-5 school with a student body of 577. The principal is Mrs. Jordan Sims. 100% of the courses at Oneida Elementary are taught by highly-qualified teachers. » School website

Oneida Middle School

Oneida Middle is a 6-8 school with a student body of 281. The principal is Mrs. Kelly Chitwood. 100% of the courses at Oneida Middle are taught by highly-qualified teachers. » School website

Oneida High School

Oneida High is a 9-12 school with a student body of 400. The principal is Mr. Rick Harper. 98.6% of the courses at Oneida High are taught by highly-qualified teachers. » School website
