Scott County Ambulance Service EMTs assist accident victims as part of a training exercise.

The Scott County Ambulance Service answers dispatch calls for all medical emergencies in Scott County. The Ambulance Service is housed adjacent to St. Mary’s Medical Center of Scott County in Oneida and also has a unit on standby at the Scott County Health Department in Huntsville.

The Ambulance Service is a division of Scott County Government. Its director is Jamie Byrd, who is appointed by the Board of County Commissioners.
